My Hometown

As someone who was born & raised in Kansas City (Missouri), it annoys me when people who haven't visited think of it as "cow town." Far from it. Tremendous, innovative, diverse restaurants (and, yes, you'll find legendary barbecue), art galleries and museums that rank among the best in the country, if not the world, and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
